RECLASSIFICATION PART 1 & 2

The PSA is excited to announce that we have repackaged our reclassification courses in response to members’ feedback about how they would like to see these courses run.

The courses are in two parts with the first part a one hour lunch and learn. This part will cover the fundamentals of the reclassification process focusing on how to best outline your case.


The second part is a half day workshop for members who have already attended the first session to work through their application with support and peer feedback.

Members do not need to attend these sessions consecutively, that is, after you have attended the lunch and learn you can attend any future workshop which suits your calendar.

Part One Lunch'n'Learn:

 

Unsure on whether you qualify for a reclassification? Not sure how to go about compiling your application? Then this short course is for you. This course is offered both in person and as a video conference online.

Part Two Workshop:

 

This workshop is specifically designed to provide time for members to commence preparing their reclassification application. You do need to have undertaken part one of the course before attending and have gathered all of the materials required as per Determination 5 outlined in the first part of the course. This course will also provide opportunity for peer review.

The workshop session is covered under trade union training leave. Members are entitled to 10 days paid trade union training leave every two years.
