Skills and Employment Review Final Structure

10 February 2016

The PSA has received the final Skills and Employment Division Organisational Structure and individual Directorate Structures (Planning and Investment, Operations and Stakeholder Management, Strategy and Business Co-ordination, Regulation and Contract Management and Office of the Training and Skills Commission) from the Department of State Development (DSD). These can be accessed via the links supplied above.

Further consideration is being given to the Specialist Migrant Services function as to where this best sits within the Department following feedback from staff within this area. DSD indicated this will be resolved within two weeks.

People and Culture are working with Directors to finalise Role Statements to enable the job matching process (transition process) to commence. Role Statements will be released in a staged approach by classification level, commencing with MAS3 and ASO8 positions. A transition timetable with critical steps and timeframes is available here.

DSD has produced a transition workflow chart which outlines the transition process that will be undertaken to transition employees into the new structure. This is available here.

There are four PSA Worksite Representatives who have been working very closely with the PSA and who can be contacted to assist members with questions and feedback. Contact the PSA for more information.
