SA Not For Sale - Campaign Update

02 October 2019

The next item on the Government auction block is Trams and Trains and the fight to keep keep them public is hotting up. Many Public Service Association (PSA) members have been helping get the word out to the community by getting postcards opposing the privatisation signed by tram commuters on their way to and from work. The postcards will be delivered to Premier Steven Marshall to highlight how wide the opposition to this decision spreads.

Thousands of people have already signed our postcards – but we need more!

This work is critical to having the community support our campaign putting pressure on the Government to keep our Essential Services public! If you have not already done so, you can sign the Rail, Tram and Bus Union online petitions here.

You can find out about these activities and more by signing up to be a part of our I am Essential campaign and join the fight to protect and improve South Australian Public Services – you can sign up here. Our next spotlight will be on SA Pathology.

Come along and show your support for keeping our Essential Services public by attending a rally on Sunday 13 October 2019 at 11:00am at Parliament House. Be there in PSA Green and stand with other members to make sure that your voice is heard. Together we can push back on this Government’s privatisation agenda.

Share this email with your non-PSA member colleagues and ask them to join our campaign!
