Review of the Office of the Public Advocate

20 April 2016

The PSA has been informed that the Attorney-General's Department will be undertaking a review of the Office for the Public Advocate.

The Department has suggested that 'the aim of the review is to identify options to provide the Public Advocate and AGD with an appropriate delivery model to address concerns regarding workload.' The correspondence, in the form of a Q&A can be viewed here.

Irrespective of the apparent intent of the review once the PSA receives formal proposals members meetings will be arranged to obtain feedback and raise any concerns or issues.

Once more specific documentation is obtained further information will be forwarded to members and if you have any questions in the meantime please contact the PSA.
