Redeployment, Retraining and Redundancy Review Commences - Have Your Say!

The South Australian Public Sector Wages Parity Enterprise Agreement: Salaried 2014 requires the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment to initiate a review of Determination 7: Management of Excess Employees - Redeployment, Retraining and Redundancy prior to the 12 month anniversary if its implementation.

Determination 7 has been operative since 19 March 2015
with the primary aim of placing permanent employees in meaningful ongoing work and ensuring agencies fulfill their obligations regarding placing employees in suitable positions prior to the external advertising of jobs.

The PSA has received formal notification from the Commissioner regarding the commencement of the review.

The PSA is seeking feedback from members on the application of the Determination, including where the Determination is succeeding, and what areas require further attention and resolution.

Your feedback is vital.
This review must identify areas for improvement that secure best practice and a consistent approach and application across the Public Sector.
