PSA Success in the SA Employment Tribunal | Museum Expert Exonerated

27 September 2018

The SA Employment Tribunal has exonerated the SA Museum’s chief expert in Aboriginal archaeology of any misconduct over the handling of Aboriginal remains.

The SA Museum’s chief expert in Aboriginal archaeology, a PSA member, was represented by the PSA throughout a lengthy hearing in the SA Employment Tribunal during February 2017.

After extensive deliberations the SA Employment Tribunal has now handed down a decision exonerating our member of any misconduct.

This is a welcome outcome for both the PSA and our member. It reinforces the value of PSA membership.

The SA Employment Tribunal’s full decision is available here.
