Land Services Secondee Update: Staff to Return to Government

Public Sector staff who were assigned or seconded to work for the privatised Land Services organisation known as Land Services SA have now been advised of a draft timetable for their return to Government.

Affected staff were informed last week of the process that will occur under the Enterprise Agreement (South Australian Modern Public Sector Enterprise Agreement: Salaried 2017). Affected staff can expect to receive eight weeks notification of their ‘unassigned’ status and the Department’s Career Services Unit will engage in finding these staff other work within the Department.

Staff were advised that at this point it is not the Department’s intention to declare any staff excess, however members concerned about their rights should they be declared excess to requirements can contact the PSA Members’ Rights Hotline to discuss their rights under the Enterprise Agreement.
