ICU Crib Break Approval – Workplace Flexibility Agreement

The Public Service Association (PSA) has recently received formal correspondence from the Department for Correctional Services (DCS) advising that the proposal to extend crib breaks on day shifts for Intensive Compliance Officers is supported, subject to a review 12 months following implementation. This arrangement will need to be finalised through a Workplace Flexibility Agreement (WFA). A copy of the letter and WFA can be found (here).

The PSA is seeking feedback from members regarding the WFA. This can be provided to PSA by email by close of business 30 March 2018.

This collated feedback will then be provided to DCS so that the WFA can be progressed to enable implementation of the crib break in line with the commencement of the new roster on 26 May 2018.
