Feedback Sought on AGD New Performance Tools and Policies

01 September 2016

The Attorney Generals Department (AGD) has introduced new electronic tools for performance planning in the form of ELMO, previously known to many staff as the Preference Review and Development (PRDs) plans completed annually. AGD workshops have taken place at most work sites for staff regarding this introduction and changes to policy.

The PSA is seeking members feedback on a range of changes, and encourage you to express your concerns to your PSA Industrial Officer or PSA Worksite Representatives.

Additionally AGD has announced further changes to its policies regarding performance management, and also refers to the misconduct processes. The documents provided for consultation include 'Guide to Performance Management Discussions', 'PRD Handbook Version 1.2', and the 'Performance Development Policy'. Management must provide you a copy of all relevant documents on request, or discuss with your PSA Worksite Representatives.

It should be observed that the draft policy regarding misconduct meetings incorrectly references that the role of the PSA can not advocate or represent its members. We encourage you to participate in reviewing these new processes and documents.
