Enterprise Bargaining Update - Education

04 February 2016

The Public Service Association (PSA) has been representing ancillary staff members in negotiations for the new Education Enterprise Agreement, which covers wages and conditions of employment across South Australian public schools.

During a
recent meeting between the PSA and the Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) representatives, a number of key issues were discussed, including better protections around workload, better structures in SSO classifications and simpler reclassification processes.

The recent discussions with DECD have been positive
and productive.

I
t is anticipated that an offer will be put forward in term 1, 2016.

The PSA has been advocating and will continue to advocate, for better working conditions for ancillary PSA members across South Australian schools. Members deserve a good outcome and will be kept informed of any further update.

Please forward any comments or questions to
your PSA Worksite Representatives or the PSA.
