Members had raised concerns about a lack of genuine consultation, particularly as it related to affected members not being engaged in the decision making process. As a result, the PSA met with People and Culture representatives on 23 June 2016 and requested that the consultation process be halted while the restructure process was clarified.

Following this meeting People and Culture have committed to send out a communication to all staff formally announcing the ceasing of any change process pending meaningful and transparent consultation as required by the Enterprise Agreement.

This is a significant win for our members at GSSA.
