DPTI - What is going on?

20 April 2016

The Public Service Association (PSA) has continued to receive reports from members regarding unreasonable delays in confirming the filling of positions arising from the Rejuvenation Project.

Members continue to remain in limbo as they await the outcome of interview processes, in some cases taking months to advise candidates what is going on in selection processes.

The PSA is concerned that these unacceptable delays disadvantage members who may need to apply for other positions while still awaiting outcomes from previous processes while other members who sit 'unattached' and not clear what is happening.

The PSA has written to the Chief Executive again seeking urgent attention is paid to rectifying unreasonable delays in filling vacancies within DPTI along with a genuine timetable for completing the recruitment process.

If you have encountered delays or inconsistencies in application processes for vacancies please notify either your worksite representative or the PSA.

Updating Details – With all the movements arising from Rejuvenation, the PSA needs to keep track on your employment details to ensure you are updated with events/issues affecting your area. Please update your details by email to the PSA.
