DHA People and Culture Strategic Review – Phase 2 Report Proposed Realignment of People and Culture Functions

The Public Service Association (PSA) attended the People and culture staff meeting yesterday where the detailed design Phase 2 Report was presented and is now out for consultation.

The PSA has been advised that the realignment of People and Culture functions within DHA will be across Local Health Networks/SAAS, Shared Services SA and the Office for the Public Sector.

There is now a two week consultation period on:

  • The Phase 2 Report that has been considered by the Steering Committee (here);
  • The Presentation that was provided at the DHA P&C staff meeting (here); and
  • For information the draft Functional Structures for Option 2 DHA Human Resources Unit (here) and the DHA Workforce Advisory Unit (here). Blue indicates existing and the green indicates an allocation into the unit.


The PSA understands that although the preferred option is Option 2, both of these options are out for consultation.

There is now a further opportunity for PSA members to provide feedback on both of the options by COB Monday 18 September 2017.
