Correction:Urgent Advice for all Work Injured Members

WEEKLY PAYMENTS TO START BEING CUT OFF FROM 28 JUNE 2017  

The previous advice issued by the PSA dated 17 January contained an error in the advised cut-off date. All work injured members, who were on 'WorkCover' when the new Return to Work Act 2014 came into operation, other than seriously injured workers, should note that any income maintenance payments will cease from 28 June 2017, not 30 June 2017 as previously advised.

It is important to note that the anniversary date of your work injury is not to be relied upon in deciding your 104 weekly entitlement period.

All members whose injury arose after the new Return to Work Act 2014 came into operation are encouraged to seek written confirmation from your Claims Administrator/Case Manager confirming your cut-off date, as it is not likely to be the same as the anniversary of your date of injury or date of first incapacity.
