CHSALHN – PSA Member Survey Request Regarding the Creation of the Six Local Health Networks

11 October 2018

The Public Service Association (PSA) is seeking members’ feedback by way of a survey across all of Country Health to assist in identifying your concerns in relation to the creation of the six (6) new Local Health Networks. The PSA will be attending the Country Health South Australia Local Health Network (CHSALHN) Industrial Liaison Forum (ILF) in early December. During this meeting the PSA will be raising members concerns regarding the creation of these new local health networks. Our aim is to ensure that PSA members are clearly heard and that your rights and employment conditions are protected during this transition and continue once the new local health networks are up and running from 1 July 2019.

The PSA has already commenced visits to sites across the current CHSALHN to engage with members and interested staff in relation to these changes. Some of the concerns raised so far have been:

1. Lack of information in relation to “devolving of CHSALHN”

2. Concerns around where members will be sent and what is acceptable

3. The potential to no longer being eligible for Salary Sacrifice arrangements

To enable the PSA to assist you during this time please complete our survey (here) by 9 November 2018. We are also encouraging all staff across CHSALHN to participate. Please forward this information update to other staff within your department to give them the opportunity to participate.

Members can also email PSA with any feedback or concerns.
