Art Gallery of South Australia | Return to the Workplace

26 May 2020

Returning to the workplace was the main discussion point when your PSA Organiser and Worksite Representatives met by phone conference on Thursday 21 May 2020, as part of their regular meetings to consider issues raised by members at the Art Gallery of South Australia.

This followed the notification that the Gallery will be opening to the public on 8 June 2020, after advice from SA Health.

As your union the PSA is closely monitoring these unprecedented events and continues to advocate for our members’ rights, safety and wellbeing.

The PSA is in communication with the Department of the Premier and Cabinet and the Gallery about COVID-19 issues to make sure members’ rights and interests are at the forefront of decision making and processes being implemented by DPC.

The PSA, together with your WSRs, will now call a meeting with senior management to address issues that have been raised by members. A PSA Members’ Update will be provided following the meeting.

The PSA is here for our members who have questions or concerns about how the COVID-19 situation is being managed.

Please do not hesitate to contact the PSA Members’ Rights Hotline on 8205 3227 or your PSA Organiser directly with any concerns or industrial issues.

Remember, this is a very difficult time for you all and now, more than ever, working together and looking after your workmates is the best place to start. Be kind to each other and check on how people are travelling while taking the time to look after your own wellbeing.
