PSA Tables Enterprise Agreement Proposals

28 April 2017

The PSA tabled its proposals for a new salaried enterprise agreement at the Enterprise Bargaining General Meeting held today.

At today’s meeting Acting General Secretary Natasha Brown said the PSA had thoroughly reviewed the current enterprise agreement and had carefully crafted a new proposed agreement that would be unambiguous in its interpretation and application, with terms that were clear, equitable, fair, consistent, and enforceable.

Natasha Brown told the meeting the PSA’s strong proposals are focussed on achieving the protections and conditions members have said are important to them. Her statement is here.

The PSA also provided today’s meeting with an overview of the proposed agreement.

The overview can found here.

The proposals are informed by the PSA’s “What You Have Told Us” document which was derived from an extensive membership consultation and engagement process. Further refinement of the proposals will continue, particularly about agency specific matters.

The PSA’s full proposals are now on our website here.

We encourage all PSA members to look over the proposals and the overview.

The PSA expects the government to give positive and constructive consideration to our proposals.

The next Enterprise Bargaining General Meeting will be held on 18 May 2017.
